International Program
Ivy Educational Services is the oldest and largest locally owned tutorial service on Guam and throughout the western Pacific. Every year, IES grows, seemingly by leaps and bounds to cater to the increased demand of parents and students for quality education. In 2009, IES reached out to businesses, parents, and students in Korea to take part in our International Program.
Students who participate in IES’s International Program attend school on Guam and at IES after school for additional learning. Depending on the candidate’s age and English proficiency, students are placed in either a private elementary, middle, or high school. There, they take classes, make friends, and compete with local children in a fully American English milieu. After school is over, they are transported to Ivy for additional studies. During the early evening hours, they are dropped off at their dormitory for dinner and to prepare for the next day’s adventures.
The International Program is based on a six-month commitment. During the contracted period of time, all aspects of the student’s life on Guam are taken care of by IES, including the school, room and board, transportation, and lifestyle activities. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to remain close to home while studying in America.
